This story had me laughing out loud so much my husband asked what's funny and I just couldn't bring myself to tell him it's a story about a husband who really deserves what's coming to him. Rose & Carl remind me of Pearl & Barry, two characters in the novel I'm currently revising, but I'm not nearly as funny as you and neither are Pearl & Barry. Thanks for the great laughs!
