I love your granddaughter’s Paddington insights, Leanne, and where they’ve led you.
The philosophical perspectives my grandchildren come up with astound me. Very existential. The youngest (three) asked her mum ‘Why do people have children?’ No simple answer to that one!
Thanks so much for linking to my Truly Madly Deeply piece. So glad you enjoyed it.
You always leave me thinking and a little heart-sore! This Paddington in prison image, oh my gosh! I am now making it a priority to watch it with my boys. (and thank you for including me in your links!)
I haven't seen the movie but that's great that they were able to get inside the characters brain. That's why I almost always prefer books to movies, because I want to get inside the characters brain and most movies don't do that.
These are great, Leanne. I loved both the piece on slow reading as well as the one on "stop working on your to do list and get writing." Thanks, as always, for sharing

It's so cool what they come up with, isn't it?

Thank you, Tarra. It's such a sweet movie. I found a replica of the pop-up book from the movie and surprised her with it. She loves it. :)

I’m so happy you got something out of them, Delia. You’re welcome!
